THE WILD ONE
ADAMÃE
OCTOBER 11-16, 2027
For the free spirits craving space away from the pull of routine.
At Adamãe, we’ll gather for a week of movement, music, nature, and release. We’ll dance under the stars, move through yoga practices soundtracked by live DJ sets as the sun sinks over the Algarve, feast together in community, and spend our days exploring wild waterfalls and open landscapes.
I drove north to stay a night at Adamãe and immediately fell in love with this venue. Imagine a cross between a festival + a retreat - that’s what we’re gathering for in this gorgeous land.
Autumn is the perfect time to gather in this area of Portugal for our final retreat of 2027: to move our bodies, create joy, connect deeply, and experience it all together in community.
Who is joining us for the wild ride?
About Adamãe
Whilst deep in research mode for our retreat series, I stumbled upon this land via online search. When I saw the images of the space, I immediately felt called to host our final retreat - The Wild One.
A quick phone call later; and I drove up that next weekend to spend a night myself here. I wanted to see the land for myself, to feel what they have created and connect with the artists behind the project.
Safe to say, it was truly magical. Large, spacious, luxurious glamping tents, style oozing out of every little chill corner. A shala that feels powerful and grounding as soon as you step inside.
Adamãe is an off-grid regenerative eco project, and it couldn’t be more perfect for The Wild One.

Meet Your Hosts
Christie Knight
I’ll be guiding you through this retreat with morning and evening Yoga practices. We’ll move through Mandala Vinyasa, Classic Vinyasa, and slower practices like yin, slow flow and extended guided meditations.
I also can’t wait to introduce you to practices I’ve fallen more and more in love with, like ecstatic dance + free movement.
Andy Frantzeskos
As with our full schedule next year, Andy will be in the kitchen lovingly preparing all of the food for the week. Food that will deeply nourish our bellies + hearts.
With 15+ years of professional culinary experience in commercial kitchens, Andy has got us covered. His cooking is all about joy — big flavours, bright colours, and always a heavy focus on working with seasonal produce.
Marie Mon Amour
I met this talented lady at an event in the Algarve, and we’ve become close ever since.
Marie wears lots of professional hats: she is an incredible DJ, educator, and facilitator. She runs her own festival in Portugal, heads up a community organisation focussed on the arts, and is also trained in psychedelic therapy, hosting her own workshops, 1-2-1 sessions + retreats in Portugal.
For The Wild One, Marie will support me in bringing our schedule to life.
