200hr with Seasonal Yoga

Lockdown finally allowed me the time to complete my 200 hour foundational Yoga Teacher Training, something I had been wanting to do for years. I completed it over the course of a year with Julie Hanson at Seasonal Yoga in Glasgow, and the course entirely burst my heart open to a depth and understanding I had never before felt. This might sound excessive, but the course genuinely changed my life. Learning about the anatomy, breath, body and energy flows allowed me to change my life in a way that feels so much more in tune with the world around me, and I am forever grateful to Julie for starting my journey in this incredible community.

My Qualifications

100hr Mandala & Shamanism

Going to the sandy shores of the West Coast of India to train with Dulce Mandala, Nicholas Menard, and Carlos Mundalah was one of the best decisions I ever made. Having fallen in love with the magic of a Mandala Flow through studios in London, I couldn’t wait to dive deeper into the Mandala Methodology, based on the system of the 4 elements: Fire, Water, Air & Earth. The practise starts off slowly, with Yin asana targeted at the areas in the body that relate to the element of the class. The flow moves through a 360° Mandala sequence, where you drop into repeated asana, flowing like magic, ending on a standing then seated sequence before bringing it back down to Yin to finish, allowing for a full integration.

50hr Rocket Yoga

Late summer of 2024 I found myself embarking on the Rocket Yoga training with Kindred School of Yoga. Training with both Katarina Rayburn & Helen Russell-Clark was an honour. My time with them truly reminded me of the power of Yoga, the power building both internal and external strength through the journey of working towards new challenges. Rocket Yoga is rooted in Ashtanga Yoga, with a more playful side. In a Rocket class, you’ll follow a sequence and have plenty of opportunity to get upside down into inversions and balances. It’s all at once: disciplined, challenging, wild and fun.
