The Autumn Season
When the Autumn season of 2019 (the year I completed my first Yoga teacher training with Seasonal Yoga) rolled around, I found the tools I was learning unbelievably powerful, and super simple.
Why is this awareness of energy, change and transition not something we are taught in school?
Following fundamental principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, let's dive into the key things that will help regulate your energy this Autumn season.
I’m so excited to share these tips with you, that have transformed my life for the better.

1: Anchor
Autumn is a season of transformation.
In our first Seasonal Yoga practise, we’ll create grounding and steadiness as we move from the expansive summer energy into the inward pull of autumn.

5: Surrender
Our final practice is a Yin journey into stillness.
With long, supported postures and deep breath awareness, you’ll soften body and mind, releasing the last layers of tension.
This class is about surrender, rest, and turning inward - an anchor for the darker, quieter months ahead.

Your guide to moving with Autumn, not against it
Still holding onto habits that no longer serve you?
Autumn is nature’s reminder to let go—just like the trees dropping their leaves. But it’s easy to stay stuck in cycles that drain your energy. Imagine feeling lighter in your body and mind because you’ve learned how to somatically release what isn’t needed. Inside The Autumn Season, you’ll use breath and movement practices that support your large intestine and lungs, helping you let go with ease and clarity.
Feeling drained and unsteady as the days grow shorter?
The season naturally shifts your energy inward, and without grounding, you can feel unsteady or exhausted. Imagine instead building a rhythm of short, practical yoga practices that strengthen your body, support your immunity, and keep your energy steady. That’s exactly what you’ll find in The Autumn Season.
Struggling with low mood or mental clutter?
Autumn often stirs feelings of sadness, grief, or overthinking. But this season can also bring deep clarity when you align with its energy. These 5 yoga practices will share how to focus the breath, steady the mind, and lift your mood. In The Autumn Season, each class guides you to connect inward—so you feel clearer, calmer, and more confident.
